We recommend the following hikes
Waalwege in Val Passiria/Passeiertal - enjoyable hikes along ancient watercourses
There are four beautiful Waalwege trails in Val Passiria/Passeiertal (ancient irrigation systems): the Kuenser, Riffianer, Maiser and Ulfaser irrigation channels. These hiking trails have no gradients and are accessible all year round. Particularly practical: the Maiser Waalweg starts right on our doorstep.
Lake hikes in Val Passiria/Passeiertal - waterfalls and mountain lakes in Val Passiria/Passeiertal in Merano and Environs
The clear, clean rivers and lakes of Val Passiria/Passeiertal invite you to hike by the water. Lakes Erensee, Faglssee, Großer Schwarzsee, Obiselsee and Seebersee: all of these lakes are popular tours in Val Passiria/Passeiertal. The waterfalls in Val Passiria/Passeiertal are also worthwhile hiking destinations.
The European long-distance hiking trail E5
The long-distance hiking trail leads from Constance to Venice. A highlight is crossing the Alps on the royal stage from Ötztal to Passeiertal. The Merano High Mountain Trail, which circles the Texel Group Nature Park, is equally well-known.
Hirzer Almenrunde
Experience a quick ascent with the Hirzer cable car and discover one of the most beautiful hiking paradises in the Burggrafenamt. At the Klammeben mountain station, at an altitude of around 2,000 metres, the sun-drenched Hirzer high plateau and picturesque hiking trails leading from alpine pasture to alpine pasture await you. Challenging high-alpine tours, such as the coveted Hirzer and Ifinger peaks, also start from here. A stop at our Hirzerhütte family mountain hut is a must!
