Gerda, the convivial hostess
The Alpenhof is Gerda's home - she grew up here. She runs the office and reception with heart and soul. She always has an open ear and loves meeting people; her relaxed, authentic character is reflected throughout the hotel.
Walter, the Joker
What would the Alpenhof be without him? Walter not only entertains the guests, but is also an enthusiastic musician in the band and invites guests to a weekly concert. Always with a joke on his lips, he embodies the ‘Psairer humour’ - the ‘Du’ is simply part of it. He loves to give his guests tips on secret places that will delight everyone.
Karl, the veteran
At over 90 years old, life is just beginning... Karl loves his Hirzerhütte at almost 2,000 metres, which he visits daily by cable car. And he loves music: he has surprised many a birthday boy or girl with his accordion, guitar and string bass. As a hunter and landlord, he has plenty of exciting stories to tell.
Thomas, the craftsman
As a trained chef, he has swapped his wooden spoon for a trowel. He has loved the physical labour of construction for several years and is a passionate firefighter. No matter where there's a fire, he's always on hand.
Viktoria, the globetrotter
Our youngest family member always has new, creative ideas and is always on the lookout for something new. Viktoria loves travelling the world - but is always happy when she arrives back home in the mountains.
